I've done more writing than any other year in my business (let's be honest, since grad school).

Blog posts. LinkedIn articles. Keynotes I had to think through on paper before I ever gave them onstage.

A running document of frameworks and language that might turn into a book someday, or might just become the intellectual property that makes everything else in my business easier to sell.

Turns out I'm in good company. Here's some interesting stats:

• Threads passed 400 million users this year.
• Substack hit 5 million paid subscriptions.
• LinkedIn newsletter publishing is up 59% year over year. People are reading again, at scale.

If you're trying to write more this year, here's what's actually made it possible for me.

I stopped typing and started talking. I use Wispr Flow to dictate almost everything now, drafts, emails, even the early version of this one. I talk it out, and it hands me back clean, formatted text instead of a wall of "ums" I have to clean up later.

I block off time for writing like a meeting. Long-form writing doesn't happen in the gaps between calls. I put it on my calendar the same way I'd protect a client session, because if it's not scheduled, it's the first thing that gets skipped.

I gave my ideas one home. Every half-formed thought, framework, and line I want to remember goes into one place instead of twenty notes apps. Pick a Notion hub, a Google Doc, a Claude project, whatever you'll actually open again.
