This month, I spoke onstage outside the United States for the first time!!

My first international keynote, in Canada!!

It was one of those moments where everything you've been building finally feels real.

It felt like me. It felt like all the pieces I've built over the past few years have all clicked.

That experience is exactly why July's theme is sales and business growth through personal branding and visibility. Because what got me an invitation to be THE selected keynote on relationships and network capital on an international stage wasn't luck, it wasn't a cold pitch, and it wasn't just trying once and getting it right the first time.

It was years of showing up, being specific about who I am and what I stand for, and refining my messaging and positioning.

This is something I think people glaze over or avoid talking about online. It's not often one fix to your messaging or offers or content that changes everything. It's a whole bunch of micro changes and micro improvements over time that happen from that one conversation, that one piece of content, and one relationship that you nurtured.

It's a combo of both strategy and you putting in the reps knowing that they are imperfect,

​and you choose to be seen anyway.
